Aloha! I'm Lisa, the heart behind Nanny Match. Think of me as the chief kiddo advocate and matchmaker extraordinaire!
My journey into the world of childcare started with a simple goal: to make life easier for vacationing families and give kids the love and attention they deserve. As a parent myself, I get it – finding reliable care can be stressful. That's why I founded this agency with a mission to make the whole process a breeze.
With a background in childcare and childhood development, I've gathered a team of amazing caregivers who share my passion for nurturing young minds.
Beyond work, I'm all about getting involved in our community and lending a hand wherever I can. Whether it's hanging out with kiddos at church or supporting our local foster care system, I'm always looking for ways to make a positive impact.
At Nanny Match, we're all about keeping it real and making sure every family feels like part of our extended o'hana. So if you're looking for someone who's got your back when it comes to childcare while you're on vacation, you're in the right place.
Aloha, My name is Lisa and I have lived in the great state of Hawaii on the island of Maui since 2018. I have raised two amazing boys who are now adults. My oldest is married and has three boys of his own in beautiful Colorado, and my youngest son proudly serves our country in the United States Army.
In addition to raising my own children, I have years of child care experience as a licensed care provider for military families overseas and worked as a professional nanny in California.
I also enjoy volunteering with youth of all ages from child care in my local church, student camping trips, and working with local foster care families and a mentorship role through Forge Mentorship and the non-profit Village of Hope.
I have recently furthered my education with a degree with a focus on childhood education and psychology. In my personal time I enjoy hiking, swimming, reading, music, and enjoying family and my pups.
I truly enjoy being with children and discovering their unique personalities. I love to play games, art & crafts, and want to help your keiki (children) have a great time here on Maui. I look forward to meeting your family.
ALOHA!!! Kym here, a.k.a. Auntie Birdy. I started babysitting at age 12 and have over 50 years of experience. I worked with special needs children in the public schools for 8+ years. CPR, AED, and first aid certified. Also trained in triage, urban search and rescue, earthquake preparedness, fire extinguisher use, and hazmat. I’m a good swimmer, hiker and diver. I support children in a loving, safe, nurturing manner with a fun, can-do, let’s learn together attitude. Helping them build personal confidence, coping and decision-making skills as they discover that life can be an amazing and exciting learning experience. Your children will enjoy their vacation time with me and have incredible memories to share with you. I can create incredible photos, so you don’t miss out on the fun. I am looking forward to meeting you and your keiki (kids) during your next visit to Maui.
Hello, my name is Erin. I am 24 years old and just celebrated my second wedding anniversary. I have been working with children since before I was in high school. In addition to babysitting and nannying, I have taught Sunday school and dance classes. I love being around children and seeing their unique personalities come to life. My goal is to create a safe, caring environment where the children feel at home.
I look forward to meeting your family!”
